“Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins” (James 4:17).
As a brief introduction, I have attended church for as long as I can remember. This included churches from the size of a small country church to one the size of our neighbor, Grace Lutheran Church. Ever since high school, I have held leadership positions in Lutheran congregations. From President of the Walther League to administrative boards and actively involved in various ministries. I have firsthand knowledge of the responsibilities of the position and how important it is that the responsibilities be carried out in line with Biblical commands, the chief of these being love.
